Bill Hemm joined Horton Sales in August of 2007. Prior to joining the Horton sales team, Bill worked for an Illinois-based dealership for a period of time that represented a couple of other ambulance builders; with the most recent being the Horton brand.
"When the opportunity presented itself to join a team as well known as Horton and become a part of that organization, I jumped at it and never looked back" Bill said. Having represented a couple of other ambulance builders products in the marketplace, and then having the opportunity to represent and experience the quality that is such a large part of Horton Emergency Vehicles, it was a very easy decision to make.
"Having been a volunteer firefighter and EMT earlier in my years, I can be active in those circles without getting up in the middle of the night and jumping on a truck. The best part of this job is working with some really dedicated and terrific people!"
Prior to entering the ambulance business, Bill worked for a major corporation for 30 years in various technical, sales and management positions.
Bill lives in Bourbonnais, Illinois with his wife Gail. They have two grown boys.
